Walter White and Jesse Pinkman Return for Better Call Saul’s Final Season

Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul, rose to massive fame with their characters– Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in Breaking Bad. Breaking Bad debuted in 2008 and ran for 5 seasons strong. Walter and Pinkman’s character were admired by critics. They were later seen in an extended Netflix Film, El Camino.

After roughly 8 years, this duo has confirmed to return for the final season of the spin-off series, Better Call Saul.

Saul Goodman played an equally entertaining and crucial character in Breaking Bad. Post this, in 2015, the character got his own show– Better Call Saul. Bob Odenkirk, plays the leading role of a con man turned lawyer six years before the events take place in Breaking Bad. Better Call Saul is stated as a prequel to Breaking Bad.

AMC network confirmed Cranston and Paul’s return through a Twitter post-
“They are coming back,”

According to Variety, Better Call Saul co-creator, Peter Gould, dropped a hint at the PaleyFestLA at the Better Call Saul panel, without revealing too much about how the characters will return.
Gould said, “I don’t want to spoil things for the audience, but I will say the first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?’ Instead of evading, I’ll just say yeah,” Gould said. “How or the circumstances or anything, you’ll just have to discover that for yourself, but I have to say that’s one of many things that I think you’ll discover this season.”

Bob Odenkirk also said, “I personally feel that the two shows — Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul — are entwined even more than ever in the final season,” the actor said. “And I think that’s surprising and cool, and it’s gonna make you want to watch Breaking Bad again.”

The last season of the show is divided into two parts. The premier of the show will air on the 18th of April till May. It will later resume in the month of July.

Better Call Saul has a history of featuring many characters from Breaking Bad– Hector Salamanca, Don Eladio, the Salamanca twins, Hank Schrader, Steven Gomez, Gus Fring, and Mike Ehrmantraut.
