WhatsApp to Launch Undo Delete Button

WhatsApp is reportedly working on an undo button to recover deleted messages. This is especially handy for users who chose the ‘Delete for me’ option instead of ‘Delete for everyone’. According to WABetaInfo, the app might launch a feature simply called ‘undo’ and is currently in early testing. A small batch of WhatsApp for Android beta version 2.22.13.5 users have received the ‘undo’ feature. The feature is reportedly rolling out with the WhatsApp for Android beta.

It is currently unknown whether the ‘undo’ feature will be available to other beta users for Android, iOS, and desktop. WhatsApp is also working on a feature that lets users edit a message after it’s sent. The Meta-owned social media platform also recently increased the file sharing limit to 2GB from 100MB.

Along with these, WhatsApp is also developing a new chat filter for desktop users. Upon selecting the filter, the app hides that all read chats will only show unopened chats. The app will also introduce a double verification code for added security.
