The group will perform at Jio World Gardens, Mumbai on May 4, 2023. Their second show will be at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in New Delhi on May 5. The shows are part of the next phase of the DNA World Tour, which began in 2019. Previously in 2020, the band paused the tour owing to the pandemic. Backstreet Boys were a global sensation in the 90s and were massive in India. The band is one of the very few to maintain a considerable amount of fame more than 30 years into their career. The band last visited India in 2010. They performed alongside pop-rock artist Richard Marx at the concert series Rock ‘N India in New Delhi.

Their latest album DNA was Grammy-nominated and was the group’s first hit on the Billboard Hot 100 in 10 years. The DNA world tour celebrates the band’s history of choreography and harmony-laden vocal prowess. The band will perform hits such as “I Want It That Way”, “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and “As Long As You Love Me”. The setlist also includes the latest hits from DNA.
